Life's Unexpected Adventures: Volume 2 by Joanne Rawson is a collection of short stories that are snappy and very entertaining. There are three stories in this volume and, just like the last time, these stories are going to make you laugh. These are definitely the stories that you will love to read at night in bed or on the nights when you are sitting in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine.
The first story - “Always Mr. Wrong” - is about a young mother named Clare Darby who is living an eventful yet boring life. She has her cute little daughter, but that is that. There is no husband and no male companion to keep her warm and make her body tingle with need. There is no one to share passion with. The need is always there to find her Mr. Right. And when her little daughter asks Clare what she wants for Christmas this year, can Clare tell her that this year she wants her Mr. Right?
The 2nd story is “Zoe North.” This story was actually pretty sweet. It is about a woman named Zoe who is just about to step up to the altar and marry the man she loves. As she is walking down the aisle towards him, she remembers how they literally fell in love and how they braved the hurdles. All of that comes back at the moment when they say “I do.”
The 3rd story is “Coming Home for Christmas” and this story I loved the most. The story follows Sophie and Thomas. Sophie recently lost her husband and now she is taking her daughter back to her hometown. Her family is picture perfect only in the pictures. Sophie makes it her goal to bring her family closer this Christmas. Thomas is a man who has suffered loss and he is cautious of love. But Sophie has somehow gotten under his skin and now there is nothing that can stop Sophie from making her place in his heart and life.
This is a really good collection. All of these stories are perfect and really fun. I would recommend every romance lover pick them because they are bound to make you smile.

Loves to read
I
was captivated by Ms Rawson since her first book, No Strings Attached, and I
full hearted agree with you Volume Two is the best of her short story writing.
Always MR Wrong. Is a heart warming romantic story, fun, fast, frolicking good time read. When a recent divorcee runs into her teenage crush, the age gap that separates them is no longer important. What matters now is heating things up without getting another burn.
Zoe North- Such wonderful writing. I could feel what the characters were feeling, good or bad or both. As always Ms Rawson has a way of writing her characters as strong, independent woman that a normal woman can relate to.
Zoe literally trips into Dale and begins a romantic fling with him. He’s the macho type of guy, into sports and hanging out at bars. Luke is more sensitive. He listens and is there for her emotional side. She has the best of both worlds…in two different guys. She is so in love with finding love; she doesn’t see what’s right in front of her.
Coming Home For Christmas - OMG!! This story was awesome to read. A story of romantic relationships, sisters, mother- daughter, and blending families, that are just a few of the themes Ms Rawson touches on. that makes this story fun and the pace keeps moving.
Have you ever watched a film and wished it was a book? After reading Ms Rawson's first novel, For Better or For Worse, I thought this is a film in the making, but combine
Ms Rawson's The Queen of chick lit, volume One and Two and OMG you could have seven mini chick drama movies in one a real Love Actually.
